SKILLS AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS
- Awarded University of Washington College of Arts and Sciences research grant for development of an interactive real time video manipulation application using Apple&squot;s Core Video library.
- Developed newTunes, a Mac OS X Dashboard Widget used to find new and upcoming album releases by only musicians that are of interest to the user. newTunes received the following recognitions:
- Over 50,000 downloads and more than 500 daily users
- Chosen by Apple.com staff as featured Widget and Staff Favorite
- Remained on Top 50 most downloaded for more than three weeks, rising to third.
- In depth knowledge of web development technologies such as JavaScript, PHP, HTML, CSS, SQL, XML/XSLT. Experience with AJAX web application architecture.
- Mastery of object oriented programming techniques using Java, PHP and JavaScript. Experience with C, C++, and Objective-C
- Strength in scripting environments such as bash, PERL, Ruby and Python.
- Adept user of digital imaging and video applications including: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier and Apple’s Final Cut Pro, Motion, and DVD Studio Pro.

- Lead Usability/User Interface developer for Atlas Curriculum Management; a web based solution for educators to design, manage, and share curriculum. Atlas is implemented in over 1600 schools world wide and serves more than 200,000 teachers.
- Develop systems in PHP, SQL, and JavaScript to enable massively scaled, flexible, and agile web applications.
- Built large scale analytical tools allowing teachers and administrators to report on how educational standards are being assessed throughout their schools.
- Responsible for integration and support of 3rd party JavaScript library integration into customizable back end systems.

- Java Swing User Interface developer for Systems Tools team. Contributed to the creation of an application used by in house specials to configure the Par3 Product for customers.
- Work on the systems integration team dedicated to the client Dell Financial Services.
- Architect components to integrate existing Dell Financial Services systems with Par3&squot;s automated calling products.
- Combine technologies such as Oracle, Java, and Unix to effectively process large amounts of mission-critical account data on a daily basis.
- Refactored the core integration code base for maintainability, readability, and scalability. Designed test frameworks both on the unit level and on the integration level where previously none existed.
- Documented system-wide implementation details in a Wiki for training new team members, support staff, and Quality Assurance teams.

- Worked remotely and was required to be self-motivated and able to solve difficult problems with minimal guidance.
- Developed and managed systems to model engineering data and plant schematics using Microsoft Visio and Visual Basic for Applications.
- Constructed the application’s primary toolbar interface, implementing a system for intuitive navigation through multi-document refinery plant schematics.
- Implemented an extensive customizable trending report to analyze plant-wide resource allocation

- Designed layout art for the band Cataldo’s debut album. Produced 1000 copies of the album.
- Experience as a contract videographer. Producer of wedding, graduation, and concert videos.
- Co-producer of three full length skateboarding videos, all of which I am featured in as a skateboarder.
